Sopping wet, usually taking on the colors of the bog or water area they are around, their eyes have a glossed over look, almost something dead about them. Their tails are longer than a normal horses, something more like a fish tail, helping them move through the water faster.
IC: "It appears to be something akin to a Fathier, except very wet, and more aquatic in nature. Less large and domesticated. I'm surprised it isn't some dead thing. Perhaps nocturnal--the eyes had a sheen to it familiar in animals of that ilk. ...they don't seem friendly."
Habitat: OOC: Kelpies inhabit larger bodies of water, keeping to lakes and ponds, occasionally visiting bogs.
IC: "Given the look of it, and finding it near a pond, I'm sure these creatures live in water. I'd watch for any reeds or kelp that move strangely."
Behavior: OOC: Preying on wildlife, kelpies are not overly dangerous water horses but should not be provoked. While often solitary, there are reports of the occasional organized hunt. If truly interested they might try to get someone to ride on their back...and then drown them. They didn't mean it. They were just trying to play.
Uses: OOC: If killed, there's a stone within it's stomach that can be used to clarify any liquid to drink. If you know it's there.
Discovered by: Hux, who was trying to clean himself by a river, and was startled by one. They were both startled but Hux vacated the area before getting grabbed.
