Her wish is, simply, of her father. Of a king surrounded by light and smiling, the leader of a united, peaceful Britain, an ideal Mordred herself never sees but is assured exists. Through Arthur alone, she receives her orders, and she obeys with a smile, never hesitating as she cuts down former enemies and future allies alike. To raise a hand against the Regency is to raise a hand against Arthur Pendragon, and his most loyal hound is eager to destroy COST for their crimes.
Of course, it isn't really him anymore, or maybe it never was to start with, and part of her already knows that. Yet hearing Mordred, my son from his lips still brings tears to her eyes. His hand on her shoulder still makes her heart swell with pride. Under the specter of her father, the Knight of Treachery becomes the staunchest ally of the very things she hates.
