STATE OF THE GAME.
Sup, we're making a few minor changes to the rules and such! Nothing major, just, as we've said before, Agoge is a new game and we're all new mods learning our own capabilities. We want to keep you guys aware of what's going on.
First of all, we're making a few changes / reminders to apps.
Each section has a word cap of 1.5k words. This is just to make it easier for us to read and get back to you on time. Links obviously don't count, but we'd appreciate a note saying where, in the link, the relevant information is, if only some parts of the link are relevant.
Likewise, we'd really prefer bullet points for the powers section whenever possible. Within those bullet points, the names of special moves aren't really important so much as their effects, and the influences those powers have relative to other characters in their canon is only sometimes relevant. We mostly want information on how your character's abilities will translate to what they'll be seeing or experiencing in game.
Lastly, something about infractions and banning. We haven't run into this problem yet, but we realized it'd probably best to make it clear before we run into it rather than after. Agoge will be working on a three strike system.
This means that if there is an infraction to the rules (no infomodding, no godmodding, observe IC/OOC line, don't menace or bully other players, don't make others feel unwelcome, don't be a dick) we will give you two strikes, the third offense will result in a ban.
However, if at any time we feel an infraction is enough to warrant a ban, we as mods reserve the right to forego the strike system and remove the player preemptively. We are not beholden to keep someone in the game if they have shown wanton disregard for the rules, or the feelings of other players.
