hello!! i'm maria and i am here with a joyful ray of sunshine, commander shepard from mass effect!

and by joyful ray of sunshine, i mean worn out war veteran in desperate need of a nap she'll never get. this whole gig isn't particularly far off from what she's used to, with the exception of being less high tech, less space, and fewer space zombies. which is fine, she doesn't miss those!

Samus has like... three voice actors, incredibly, for a 'mute' protag. But YES Jennifer Hale did the voice for all the Metroid Prime games! It's admittedly just like... grunts and cries of pain but there was an outtake that had her doing a full intro speech. SAD IT DIDN'T MAKE IT INTO THE FINAL GAME but hey. It is definitely a very good voice.
