A little known fact about the French Revolution: Mary Wollstonecraft was there for some of it.

Who was Mary Wollstonecraft? Just some author. She published a few books and pamphlets, the most notable being what is widely considered the beginning of a modern feminism as we know it. She is also the future mother of Mary Shelley, the author of Frankenstein.

If she were to die, in Paris, history would be irrevocably changed.

The Regency is not targeting Mary Wollstonecraft, and neither is COST (you can exhale). Simply, their involvement in Paris during this turbulent time has caused situations to change outside of the norm, and if no one intervenes, Wollstonecraft will be caught in a mob and trampled to death. Her writings will never be published. Her famous daughter will never be born.

COST does not know this is about to happen. Your character being there, and saving the life of an unknown Englishwoman, will be a stroke of luck... or not.

Afterward, a separate operative not currently in France will contact COST about what just did or did not happen. Their interference is changing the timeline. It's best to be careful.

　　　⏩There are 2 signup slots, and signups close on the 11th (that's in 3 days). After signups close, the success or failure of the mission will be rolled, and you can plan how you're going to play that out, or play it by ear, it's all good.

　　　⏩The worst possible outcome is Mary Wollstonecraft dying, history changing completely, and your characters possibly being seriously injured in the chaos.

　　　⏩The best possible outcome is Wollstonecraft escaping unharmed, with very little knowledge of her saviors, and no player characters meeting serious injury.

　　　⏩The success of this mission will be determined by the combined success of both characters.

　　　⏩Because this mission's outcomes will be decided in advance via dicerolls, there's no 'due date' on the log being threaded out.
