AC WRAP-UP & AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
RNGs are now closed. For those of you who participated in RNGS and came out victorious, remember to turn them in to the conquest thread. We're going to give you until Friday to turn those in; these will affect the log going up this weekend, so please don't forget!

LIFE MARCHES ON.
First, some bad news: The mod team has agreed we need to clip the game's planned missions short. It turns out real life is a jerk and, like a beastie of old, rears its ugly head to smash cities/mead halls/giant statues/RP communities. As you can imagine, a game like this takes a lot of work for all of us, between research, plotting, and everyday run-and-play. Because of that, we're going to bite the bullet; two of our mods have had major changes in their working lives (yay!) and the third has but two arms and legs and, unfortunately, has not yet worked out how to wrangle kangaroos into decent modding minions.
We have considered recruiting help, among other solutions, but short of major restructuring and possibly changing the concept of the game itself, it's proven less than feasible. Still, we can't apologize enough and appreciate y'all sticking with us.
But hold your horses, no tearful goodbyes just yet!
THE PLAN SO FAR.
We have every intention of giving you guys a satisfying ending to this mission and, eventually, the game as a whole. So with some changes, we hope this looks like a good and fun end for you guys!
We're going to give Jhashch the proper conclusion it deserves and run one final mission where all hell is probably going to break loose. You'll have the opportunity to cash in all that sweet XP you've been building up over time (and obtain your purchases at a discount), and welcome back anyone who wants to reclaim characters during endgame. Reclaims will officially open once the final log for Jhashch is up and will not be subject to the character cap; the application page will be updated to reflect this.
As of now, Jhashch will carry on as planned; you'll have your log this weekend with HRHRs to carry you through the month and to the "who the hell is in charge of Jhashch now" log. For those of you involved in the plot surrounding Kebechet (or anything else; looking at you, PASIV folks), keep on keeping on; we're still keen to help you get what information you need. Post-spiderland, we'll run one of two missions; which one you guys get will depend on who walks away ruling Jhashch. It should run for two months.
Also, activity will be check-in only during this time. "But Nix," you may say, "you just gave me a strike!" Well, my friend, let me rest my hand on your shoulder and look you in the eye. This is your lucky month, because I processed AC when we weren't 100% sure how our plans would affect the game. It would have been goofy to get melodramatic about it.
So, I guess what I'm saying is: Go forth and enjoy your lightened AC burden.

We hope you've had a great time, because we sure as hell loved running the game for you. Thank you for joining us on an amazing journey through space and time, screwing with the time stream, and not screwing the spiders (well, most of you). If we did our job right, you enjoyed learning about history (oh no, education through fun! what deceit). We want to thank you for keeping us on our toes with all your input and thoughts and for all the threads we've both had and got to stalk. It's been a blast.
We hope you stick with us for the final leg of the game!

We likely won't have plot coupons as we've been running them up until now, given the length of the mission, but we may allow people to cash in for a plot-prominent role or what have you, depending on supply and demand!
