Hello all! This is Jay, another newbie, bringing in Jaina Solo. She's from some sort of star war alternate timeline in which crazy writers thought Han and Luke were actually competent and cool. If you're concerned about getting indirectly spoiled for anything due to Jaina discussing things in threads with you, let me know and I'll try to adjust to suit.

Jaina's late teen years were spent flying starfighters for the military. Promise she's only been court-martialed once. I can't wait for her to come out the gates with Opinions about the technology available to soldiers in the upcoming setting.

Permissions are here, and my plurk is fakealchemist if desired, but it's a pretty boring place. Looking forward to seeing what we get up to!

Slides in here late to the welcome party but hello Jay! I'm Kat, also a newbie here, bringing Samus from Metroid. I guess she's like if Han and Boba and Phasma had an unholy child raised by space birds. She also has some grease monkey tendencies so she'll probably get aong with Jaina in that regard. I'm super looking forward to see how Jaina does here!

I feel like it's a good thing Jaina recently started making friends with bounty hunters, because I would absolutely love to see them roll up their sleeves and fix things. Or break things, because Han/Boba/Phasma birdchild action protagonist, and then fix things.

Also: mutual grousing about red tape and bureaucracy in military structures.
