New Player Plot

Hi friends! I approached the mods about a new player plot that would address the big elephant in the room: Kebechet! They gave their blessings, so I figured it would be best to get everyone on the same page who would be interested in playing a role in this. 

Even if you're super swamped right now, I'm sure there's something we could have your character do to help the team. It could be something as simple as intel gathering (need lots of spies, after all).

If you're interested, please leave a comment below so we can get a ballpark idea of how many people want to participate.

Also, be sure to mention whether or not you use discord. I think MOST of us are on it, so I made a discord channel, which might be easier for getting the ball rolling on the plotting side of this. If you don't use it, we can always fill you in on details, get your input, and run it by you for your blessing :)

EDIT (5/28): After talking about it as a group so far, we're going to leave sign-ups open until this Thursday (5/31), and then we're going to begin plotting for the player plot. No worries if you're newly joined and don't have CR with the group, there are vets who know that Kebechet is around and you can definitely use them as an IC reason why your character would help out. Drop a comment and we can finalize the details for that! c:

Anyway, as has come up in threads, Jon both really wants to mess Kebechet up and recognizes that he doesn't have dibs. So he doesn't have to take the lead. (Also, the way he's been rolling lately in RNG... you don't want him to.) But he'll want to be up to his ears in this.

i'll hop in the disco tomorrow but obviously mordred would want to be part of this!! she 100% wants to put a sword through kebechet's gut like they did to her, but heads up that if anyone who wasn't kidnapped tries to put their name forward to be the one who does it (achilles) she'll flip her shit and have to be talked down/taken out. i'm sorry she makes this more difficult, why does anyone tell her things.

Otherwise, William has heard the name Kebechet and knows it's important, but as a relatively new character, he still doesn't have the first clue who that is or why everyone's losing their shit over it--it's hard to say how or whether he'd get involved when the information has yet to be presented to him.

I'M DEFINITELY NOT ASKING ANYONE TO BEND THEMSELVES OUT OF SHAPE JUST TO INCLUDE MY CHARACTER, but I'm keen to know if and when this information will be made available to the game at large. I feel like there are other players who are in the same boat as well. (Likewise, I'm hoping the outcome of the plot will be made public knowledge, if possible?)

I think 76 might refrain from taking a front-line role in this given the fact that he's already died once and his friends are mad at him, but if you need someone in a supportive role, running comms, keeping watch, sending for help if things go south, I would love to throw him in to fill blanks in that capacity.

Late the party, but a reminder to not tell Kylo or Hux about this, or they'll squeal to the Regency haha. HOWEVER if you do want to complicate things, we are totally down for them sticking their noses in or getting this back to the Regency, if you so desire!
