POWER & MEMORY SWAP.
Yep, the upcoming log features a power/memory swap. While we're saving the exact details of how it'll happen for the log, we want to give you guys some time to prepare and chat amongst each other before it goes live. So let's talk logistics!
Swappage can go one way or both ways; there's no fine science to it. A character may go entirely unaffected themselves, but discover someone else has obtained one of their memories. Another character might not get anyone's memories, but they may suddenly (and temporarily) acquire superpowers. This doesn't mean that the original character even loses their powers, per se (unless that's your jam), and the characters involved may be friends or they may be complete strangers.
This segment of the plot is opt-in and open to anyone in the game and fourth wall characters.
Characters may only have one power set at a time, so while you can swap powers multiple times, you can't hoard them from multiple sources. However, characters can pick up as many memories as you like until this event resolves.
We have a form for you guys to fill out, for ease of plotting. Only include abilities and memories you're fine with other characters accessing; this can include game memories. If you have any stipulations or clarifications, etc, stick them in the notes section!
Please use this post to communicate and let each other know if you're going to use other characters' powers or memories!
